“Do you think you can mess with the dreams of the poor? You can’t, for God makes their dreams come true”. Psalm 14:6 (MSG)
Poor in body, poor in soul, poor in spirit, in relationships or resources. Lacking in wisdom, understanding or love—we can all have ways, times, or seasons, where the need is great. If that’s you today, in any way, then dream on, for there is no shortage of supply in the One Who loves you, the One Who will make those dreams come true!
Don’t listen to the lies that say you are not smart enough, good enough, brave enough, bright enough—God loves to fill in the gaps, the places of need, spilling over in abundance with the substance of Who He is. He causes all things to overflow with love and grace, strength and ability, peace and prosperity, healing, and hope—making all the empty places full and causing the dry places to spring to life.
Oh yes, precious one, that’s exactly what He will do. Hold up your empty vessels, whatever they may be, and let His abundance flow. Dream big, beloved of God, dream big. You’re His Masterpiece and there is no lack or poverty for you. Those dreams are coming true!
Dearest God and Father,
You alone know the dreams I have held, and those I have let go. You know the ones that remain, a tiny seed, in a sea of what feels like endless impossibilities. And yet in You, our promises are perfected; our hope secured.
I hold my dreams before You today Lord and ask for the fire of Your love to fall upon them. Whatever is not of You, I pray, in Your kindness and grace, You will wash away.
Whatever is of You, and is born in Your heart for me, and for my family, I lay hold of those promises today. You know the longing Lord, and the lack, and You can fill it all with good things.
You are the Holy One of Israel. The Giver of Life. The Perfector of Destinies. Our Master and the Maker of dreams come true!
