“The suffering won’t last forever. It won’t be long before this generous God who has great plans for us in Christ—eternal and glorious plans they are! Will have you put together and back on your feet for good. He gets the last word, yes He does”. 1 Peter 10,11 (MSG)
The words we listen to and the words we speak are so important. They have power to create, life and hope, peace, and comfort, or fear, anxiety, and stress. Words can build us up or tear us down if we let them. We can receive and embrace the blessings that come our way, and refuse, and let go of, anything that is not of God—that does not encourage and strength us and align with what He has intended as His best.
Here’s the good news in the midst of all the words that float by our world and seek to overwhelm—this God Who loves you so, this God Who is forever faithful and true—has the last word and the best word, over you!
If you can’t see it, if you don’t feel it today, no matter, for the promises stand firm and sure, they are always there. Listen close to the words of the One Who loves you so, “I am with you always and you belong to Me. Stay close beloved, to My heart of love. This is your shelter and your safe place. This is a love that will heal, restore, and set you free.”
Oh, joy of His heart, rejoice! If you are not sure what words are best to say, hang on to, and repeat the ones He has already given—words of the faith filled future that is yours, brimming over with hope and an abundance of unfailing love, for His plans are eternal and glorious.
No matter what may seem broken now, you will be put back together, standing strong on your feet again, and not just that, but your whole life and all things concerning you, standing strong too!
I love Your words Lord—they are pure, and holy, and true. And I love that You have spoken Your words of love, and life, and blessing, over my life too!
I receive those words today Lord—all that You say about me and over me. I receive it with joy and thanksgiving.
I agree with all that You have spoken. I trust in what You say, and I trust You!
