I’ll put muscle in the people of Judah; I’ll save the people of Joseph. I know their pain and will make them good as new. They’ll get a fresh start, as if nothing had ever happened. And why? Because I am their very own God. I’ll do what needs to be done for them”. Zechariah 10:6 (MSG)
What beautiful words to warm a weary soul! God Himself says, “I’ll do what needs to be done for them.” What needs to be done for you!
Rest in that for just a moment, beloved one. Let it sink down deep and comfort your heavy hurting heart. What holds you back right now? What hems you in? Is it the pain of the past? Fear of the future? A remembrance of who you were; what you have done; or what has been done to you?
Are there situations or circumstances beyond what you can manage? If so, the good news is, nothing is out of His control. He knows exactly what you are going through, and He knows exactly what to do! His perfect plan for you is not to be in pain, pretending, or under any pressure to perform. No matter what was, or what is to come—here is His unbreakable promise to you, “I will make them good as new”.
Worn out, worried, or afraid? Your very own God has His heart set on blessing, caring, comforting, and providing for you—not so you can survive, just barely alive, but so that you can live life to the fullness—overcoming, joy-filled, days of mercy and grace.
Days of thanksgiving for Who He is and all He has done for you. Why? Because He is your very own God, and you are His very own chosen child. He loves you, dear heart, more than you can know. He is with you always—leading, guiding, covering, and caring in a myriad of ways—each and every promise-filled day!
Precious Father and Lord,
How thankful I am to hear this promise that You will grant a fresh start, and in every moment of every day, we can begin again in You. In all things large and small, dented or damaged in what seems beyond repair; You know exactly what to do!
I give thanks today with a full heart, for You set all that is wrong, right. All that is lost can be found in You. All that is broken, made new. There is no other God like You!
I sing a song of celebration Lord, for Who You are, and that my life—all of my life—is lost and found in You!
I welcome that fresh start today, Poppa, I place my hand in Yours, my very own God. I am so grateful for Who You are, our great and glorious, God. I am so very thankful for Your kindness in all You do.
