For the Lord your God is He Who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you”. Deuteronomy 20:4 (NKJV)

There may be days where you feel strong enough to take on the world, and days when you may feel defeated, as if the world is overtaking you!

But here is some good news—a promise to hang on to when it all feels too much—you are not in this alone—the Lord God Himself is in your midst and He is the One Who will save you!

He goes ahead of you to prepare the way, ordering your steps day by day. He fights for you, leads and guides you; encourages and empowers you to find your way in Him—no fighting involved on your part, for He has done it all for you!

He will show you the way around the obstacles that appear, set out a path through the mountains, or cause them to be removed altogether! Dear heart, never fear, the One Who loves you deeply, intimately, and protectively is here.

Prayer: 

Precious Lord, I thank You that You are for me and not against me; that You fight for me in all the places I need fighting for; that You save me from my enemies and lead me through to the freedom I have in You.

Holy Spirit, so often I have felt alone, fighting for myself and trying to find my own way through. When I looked around, no one was there, but now, by grace, I see You!

Come Lord Jesus, in the fullness of Your power—go with me into all the battles I face. Yours alone is the victory, so I look to, lean on, and trust fully in You.

It is bigger than me at times, Poppa, but never bigger than You! Lift this burden I cannot carry, and let me be carried instead by You!
