It shall be said in that day, Behold our God upon Whom we have waited and hoped, that He might save us! This is the Lord, we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation”. Isaiah 25:9 (AMPC)
Hope in God does not disappoint, because God does not disappoint. Salvation comes when Jesus comes—healing, deliverance, fellowship with God, follows quickly too! Sit down at the bus stop of life, and when He pulls up, get on!
He will take you to answered prayers, to a future filled with hope. He will drive you out of the storm, to calmer seas, taking your hand in His, to still those shaky knees.
Stay with Him, rest in Him, and let Him chart the course; do the driving and take you where you need to go. Oh, beloved of the Most High God, this Lord you have watched and waited for, has not only planned a journey of joy, but will be with you all the way through.
Hope in Him, treasured heart, wait. Don’t be afraid. You have His promise which is eternally secure, and He has you!
Forgive me Lord for the times I have run ahead of You, driven to run to something, or furiously fleeing away!
For the times I have done things in my own strength, with what I thought was a good idea, instead of waiting for You.
Here I am today, Lord, stopping, waiting, listening, and watching! Waiting and watching for You!
Come Lord Jesus, Lord of my heart; my Light and my Salvation. Come and do what only You can do!
