May God, Who puts all things together, makes all things whole, Who made a lasting mark through the sacrifice of Jesus, the sacrifice of blood that sealed the eternal covenant, Who led Jesus, our Great Shepherd, up and alive from the dead, Now put you together, provide you with everything you need to please Him, Make us into what gives Him most pleasure, by means of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah. All glory to Jesus forever and always! Oh, yes, yes, yes”. Hebrews 13:20-21 (MSG) Do you ever have those days where it feels like everything is falling apart? You try to put the pieces together, but they don’t seem to fit. Crushed slivers and shattered dreams, nothing is working out exactly as you planned, if you dared to plan at all. That is until your Jesus, your Saving Hero steps in, answers and solutions in hand, picks up the broken pieces, and in His age-enduring kindness, makes them whole. That’s right, Jesus comes, beloved, swift and sure. Jesus, Who allowed His own Body to be broken so that your body and your very life could be made whole—not a wholeness you can earn or achieve on your own, but a free gift of His eternal love, and endless abiding grace.
And you don’t have to get yourself right either, to come to Him for help. You come just as you are, broken bits, broken dreams, and heart, and place them in His hand. He Himself will put you together, provide you with everything you need, give you His life where death had reigned before, with God’s great grace and glory now reigning supreme! He will heal the pieces of the past and making you whole, working perfection into every part of your life, and leading you on into the glorious future He has planned. What is broken today, beloved one, that may seem beyond repair? Is it physical in nature and the answers cannot be found? Is it a relationship you worked so hard on but now have lost all hope? Did you know that nothing, not one thing, is too hard for Him? Yes, even what you are walking through right now—even that! Heart of His own heart, you are held in the arms of the Great Shepherd of the Sheep. You are the recipient of all that He has done, and your vital union with the One Who is life, changes everything. This truth is sealed unto the day of redemption and can never be taken from you. Let Him do what only He can do—His miracle mercies at work even now, for He will do it all out of His great love for, cherished, chosen, and lovely you. Then give thanks for Who He is, your Redeemer and Friend; for all He has done as Saviour and Lord, and all He will continue to do—today and every day—eternal goodness and grace, without end! Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You for Your promise to me today that You will work perfection into every part of my life, giving me all that I need to fulfill my destiny in You. I cannot do this on my own Lord, and I acknowledge, that because of the sacrifice of Jesus, the Anointed One, this is freely given as a gift of love. Come into the wildernesses of my life; the dry and barren places; and let Your spring of living water flow! I thank You that You have promised that You will never leave me alone; never loosen Your grip on me; and that Your presence is always near. I bless You, Lord, with a grateful heart, and I lift Your Holy Name on high, as I join my life to You. All glory to You our gracious God, for Who You are; for all that You so perfectly do!
