Close your eyes for a moment if you can, and imagine the Lord God of all Creation, the One Who made you, formed and fashioned you—the One Who gave His life for you and is totally committed to giving you His best—placing His loving, healing, helping, hand of hope, upon you. 

He hears, as He is doing that, the deepest cry of your heart—the longings, the loneliness, the concerns, and fears—and taking them all up into His caring heart, He releases words of affirmation and kind affection over you. He imparts, in all the longing places, the very substance of Who He is, which is the answer to all you need. 

Feel the peace and comfort, as His tender care washes over you. Let everything else fade away and let His divine love rush in. It will fill up all that is lacking; heal the deepest wounds; and impart the glorious hope that is found in Him alone. This is the confident assurance you have in Him, beloved one, because He is yours. And you, joy of His heart, beyond a shadow of a doubt, always and forever, are His!

Prayer: 

Dearest Lord, would You come and lay Your hand upon my life today, just as You say? Would you come in Your kindness and care, and hold my heart, and my whole life, in the centre of Your loving care?

I need You, Lord, in every way, in every day. You are my soul’s celebration. Your miracles of kindness are over all.

Glory be to Your Name, oh Lord, Most High Glory be to Your Holy Name.
