“Remember these things, O Jacob. Take it seriously, Israel, that you’re my servant. I made you, shaped you: You’re my servant. O Israel, I’ll never forget you. I’ve wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There’s nothing left of your sins. Come back to me, come back. I’ve redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:21-22 (MSG)
One of the wonderful kindnesses in being made by a God Who loves you so, Who shaped, formed and fashioned you, and feels really good about what he has created—is the knowledge that you will always have someone Who is for you and not against you.
Someone Who wants the best for you, even when you are not sure exactly what that is! All you have to do is stay close to His heart, trust Him, and believe. Every evil lie in life will try to tell you have done too much, gone to far, not done enough—and each one is meant to hem you in or hold you back from reaching the fullness of all God has for you.
Yet the unfailing love of the One Who loves you so is a very freeing love at it’s core—forgiving, redeeming, restoring—deeply committed to you. And remember, it is never about what you have done or failed to do. It is 100 percent about what He has already done. Ransomed, healed, restored, and forgiven, marvellously made, cherished and adored, you!
