​Remember these things, O Jacob. Take it seriously, Israel, that you’re my servant. I made you, shaped you: You’re my servant. O Israel, I’ll never forget you. I’ve wiped the slate of all your wrongdoings. There’s nothing left of your sins. Come back to me, come back. I’ve redeemed you”. Isaiah 44:21-22 (MSG)

One of the wonderful kindnesses in being created by a God Who loves you so, Who shaped, formed and fashioned you, and feels really good about what He has made, is the knowledge that you will always have someone Who is for you, and not against you. Who is always on your side.

Someone Who wants the best for you, even when you are not sure exactly what that is! All you have to do is stay close to His heart, trust Him, and believe. Every evil lie in life will try to tell you have done too much, gone too far, or not done enough—and each one is meant to hem you in or hold you back from reaching the fullness of all God has for you. 

Yet the unfailing love of the One Who loves you so is a very freeing love at its’ core—forgiving, redeeming, restoring—deeply committed to you. And remember, divinely loved one, it is never about what you have done or failed to do. It is 100 percent about what He has already done. Ransomed, healed, restored, and forgiven, marvellously made, cherished and adored, you! 

Prayer:

So often Lord, the days can be filled with reminders of all that has been done wrong—either by others—but most especially by myself. And yet in Your redeeming and compassionate love—You are focused on telling me all that I have done right, and with the slate wiped clean, You promise to keep no record of wrongs.

I thank You marvellous and glorious God that this could be so! Would You help me today I pray, to wipe the slate clean and forgive myself as well? So that I may stand more fully free in this world knowing I am whole and complete before You?

Encircle, and empower me today Mighty God, as I join my life with You. There is no greater thing, this day, or any day, that I could do!

Lord of my life, I worship You.
