“What I’m trying to do here is get you to relax, not be so preoccupied with getting so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep yourself in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Don’t be afraid of missing out. You’re my dearest friends! The Father wants to give you the very kingdom itself.” Luke 12:29-32 (MSG)
We live in a world where one of the loudest messages can be, “There is never enough.” Never enough time, or money, or love. A shortage of hope, true freedom, and joy. The fear that we will run out of the very thing we need most, or will never find it in the first place, is always there. We can go through life with an empty cup, with little expectation it will ever be filled.
Yet here again is our life-giving, extravagantly-loving, generous and merciful God, Who provided us with all that we need, before we were even born. You don’t have to worry; God-provisions are here for you. All that you need and so much more.
Beloved one of the Most High and Gracious God, He will never let you go and never let you down. All that He has, He has given to you. Embrace these truths, dear heart, for this is His deep desire for you. Your cup runneth over with the goodness of your God—His mercy fountain, filled with an abundance of supply, will never run out!
