​Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you”. Jeremiah 29:12 (AMPC)

Our temptation, when we are in pain; have done something wrong; or when something wrong has been done to us, can be to run away from God and hide. However, wisdom would say it is far better to run to Him, and fast, for that is the very place where we are safe. The place where we find rest for our souls and are healed.

Run to Him at all times, at any time, no matter what. He is waiting always, at the ready to respond. Come to Him in confidence; bringing your worries and your cares, for He cares for you. Pour it all out before His all-accepting heart of love—the hurts and fears; the rejection and pain. In the most glorious exchange, He will pour His life, new and fresh, back in again. He will lift your burdens and replace them with His benefits—bringing you to a banquet of blessings instead!

Prayer is simply talking to God, and you must know how He loves the sound of your voice, whenever you share—even with questions and with cares. He will never close His heart to you when you ask Him for His help! 

Cry aloud with all of your heart, treasured one, for He is listening always, and His answers—overflowing with goodness and grace—are assured!

Prayer: 

I bring my heart to You today, Lord, knowing in so many ways, there is nowhere else to go. No one who understands as You do. No one knows exactly what to do.

Thank You for always being ready, to listen and beyond that, to truly hear. Thank You that Your love, Your guidance, Your wisdom and compassion, are always near.

Lord of my life, I lift my voice, and my life, to You. May the kindness of Your love, wash away every fear. With all my heart I thank You, for Who You are, for the richness of Your mercy and redeeming grace, and that You always hear. That You Holy Spirit, with Your abiding presence, are always near.
