​​​'They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.' God, your God, says so”. Amos 9:13-15 (MSG)

Promises get made all of the time, some well-intentioned, some not, and promises get broken all the time, too. Many come from good hearts and honest desires to bless, but without the ability to see it come to pass. Others are made to make someone else look or feel good about themselves perhaps, without a single thought of how that broken promise may end of affecting you. 

However, when the God of the Universe says something to you—it is for you and not against you—and it is said by the One Who can make it all come true. He has never lied to you before and rest assured, dearest heart, He never will. 

Is there an area of your life right now where a promise would be helpful to carry you through? A place to live, daily bread provision, or long-range plans? Turn your heart to Him now, lovely one, knowing that He has already purposed to bless you, to fill your future with good things—and to make His unshakeable, unbreakable, promises to you, come true. 

Don’t ever forget that you are deeply loved and that is what love will do!

Prayer: 

I welcome Your love into my life today, Lord, in new and inspiring ways. I welcome Your promises and Your Word, as I watch and wait for You.

You are the Lord of my life. You are my dream come true. Come now, Majestic Jesus, into the garden that is my life. Pull up all that is not of You, and plant deep in my heart and in the soil of my life, the dreams You hold in Your heart for me. They are precious and they are true.

I love that it could be so, Lord. That You would dream and plan and promise for good things, God things, to overtake my life. And one word, Your word, makes it all come true.
