Still, Eternal One, You are our Father. We are just clay, and You are the potter. We are the product of Your creative action, shaped and formed into something of worth”. Isaiah 64:8 (Voice)
Many people can try to leave their mark on us; tell us who we are or should be according to their own ideas, needs, or end goal; rather than celebrating and coming into agreement with God’s design for our lives and our eternal destiny. When we are not sure ourselves, of who we are, or are supposed to be according to what God has planned, it is easy to let someone else define that for us. Not that we should not value what others have to say or the input they may give, but the greater good is found in discovering and living out of the place where we shine in our original design. A place where God’s life and love is revealed in and through us!
We are the masterpiece of God’s own hands, re-created in Christ Jesus as God’s beloved child—to be who He destined us to be. When we stay true to His workmanship, it may not be what other people want or expect, but it will be exactly what God has chosen, and it doesn’t get better than that!
You, beloved one, get to be you! Without compromise or apology. As you walk in the truth of who, and how, God created you to be, you are blessing His heart and the world He placed you in. So, who else would you want to be? He alone had the original vision, always set before Him, seeing you as whole and complete. Created in the wonder and beauty of His image. Just as He envisioned and intended for you to be!
Take the clay of your life, dear heart—those broken bits and all and place it firmly in His capable hands. Then hold your head high, cherished one, for you were fashioned in love and right now, in this exact moment of time, you are perfectly lovely and perfectly loved.
God is always working things around to His deepest desire for you—His unfolding masterpiece—the work of His hands. You are the joy of His heart—all your life through!
Thank You Lord that I am indeed Your masterpiece and the work of Your hands. Forgive me for judging myself as being too much, or not enough, and for letting others judge and define me too.
Today Lord I choose You! I choose Your will for my life, Your plans and Your purposes, and I celebrate them all.
Where I am weary, where I have wandered, I know You can bring things back around for my good and for Your glory. You can restore!
I bless you Father God, Ruler over all. I celebrate the work of Your hands in Creation, in my life, and in the lives of others too.
There is no one like You in all the world Poppa. No one will ever be as good and as kind as You! Thank You precious Lord for Who You are and for all You do.
Great is our God and greatly to be praised.
