“He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! Trust in the Lord God always, for in the Lord Jehovah is your everlasting strength.” Isaiah 26:3,4 (TLB)
We all know what those “running on empty” times are like, below empty really, with nothing to give, and no reserves to draw from.  Those moments, caused by overwhelming circumstances or difficult demands, seek to sink us.  And they can.  Except for a higher truth.  The truth that says, trust in God, He has you, the circumstance, and the situations firmly in His grip of grace, and He won’t let go!

Don’t look down to the muck and mire that wants to pull you under. Look up instead to the One Who has already saved you! He is your salvation and your song. He is your everlasting strength, your source—the substance of all you need—in endless supply.  Surrender it all to Him dear one.  He knows.  Then turn those troubled thoughts to trust instead.  Lean into with all your heart, and lean on, the One Who is faithful, true, and 100% committed to caring for you!
