God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good and He validated it completely. And there was evening and there was morning, a sixth day”. Genesis 1:31 (AMPC)
Here is an unshakeable truth, far too precious to ever forget. You were made by the hands of a loving, gifted, caring, immensely talented, God! And when He saw you—all of you—He loved you completely, and declared that you are good! He has loved you every moment of every day since then, is loving you right now, and He always will.
Don’t worry so much if others don’t see it, for they may be looking through the blurred vision of their own brokenness and needs. If they could see you, as He sees you, they would agree—God made you, and it is very good indeed!
Today Lord I think of that song that says…Oh, Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.
I do see the wonder Lord and the beauty in creation, but I don’t always see the beauty in me! Yet You made me Lord, knit me together in my Mother’s womb and marvellous are the works of Your hands.
I receive that today Lord, and I thank You for all that You have made. In the strength and stature of Your magnificent trees; in the beauty of the tiniest flowers and the buzzing of the bees. On the sun-kissed shores cooled by the ocean breeze. And me Lord, even for me.
Marvellous are the works of Your hands Lord. May Your goodness and grace be reflected in it all.
