Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvellous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory”! Romans 5:2 (TPT)
Relationships can be fickle at times, one minute you are on the receiving end of someone’s acceptance, love and kindness; the next moment you feel completely left out. It can feel as if love has a limited supply and without realizing it you have made too many withdrawals.
The good news is it is never that way with God. In Him you have constant, permanent, on-going, life-giving access to all that He is, and all that He has for you. This is not dependent on any way on what you have done or failed to do. It is 100% dependent on Who He is, and all Jesus has done for you.
He has made you, and everything about you, perfect in the eyes of God. Permanent and forever. His unshakeable, unchangeable, kindness and grace always available in unlimited measure. Freely, in abundance, it has all been given to you; freely and with joy and thanksgiving, you can receive! Even when it feels like everything else is shaken or taken away, His love, care, and acceptance of you, remains steadfast and secure.
Celebrate and rejoice, redeemed child of our glory-filled God. Your hope is rock solid in the truth of Who He is and all that Jesus has already accomplished on your behalf. There are no limits in His love and it can never be taken away. God, your God, Who loves you so, is here to stay!
How wonderful it is dearest Lord, that even when other relationships come and go, You are here to stay. And not only to stay, but to promise peace and permanence, unending hope, marvellous kindness, and amazing grace.
Though others can often point out of flaws—You see me in Christ—perfect and flawless in every way—perfectly cared for and loved. On the good days when I feel I have gotten it all right and on the days I have messed up terribly too, Your love stays constant in it all, forever faithful and true.
I can’t make it without You Lord, but Holy Spirit I know, lives in me, and He will lead me, guide me, and carry me through. I join my life to You today, Lord. With every fibre of my being—I join my life to You.
With joyful confidence and eternal gratitude, I pray.
