“Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMPC)
Trust can be a fragile thing, and once broken, often difficult to repair. We can choose where we place our trust, it is ours alone to give—to a person, a system, a way of being in the world, a manner of doing things that we believe will bring the required results.
While we may find a measure of security and strength from numerous sources, God alone is the only One Who is 100% completely trustworthy, dependable, and true. The more we trust God, and our life and care to Him, the easier it will be to trust others. For even if they let you down, you still have a failsafe rock solid promise, that He never will.
Lean into this truth beloved, for He sees what we cannot see. He will meet all of your daily bread needs; guide your feet along His paths of perfect peace and show you over and over just how confident you can be in placing your trust in Him. From there, worthy one, He will show you when, and how, to trust others too.
