Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths”. Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMPC)

Trust can be a fragile thing, and once broken, often difficult to repair. We can choose where we place our trust, it is ours alone to give—to a person, a system, a way of being in the world, or a manner of doing things that we believe will bring the required results.

While we may find a measure of security and strength from numerous sources, God alone is the only One Who is 100% completely trustworthy, dependable, and true. The more we trust God, and our life and care to Him, the easier it will be to trust others. For even if they should let you down, or let you go, you have a failsafe rock-solid promise, that He never will.

Lean into this truth, divinely loved one, for He sees what we cannot see. He will meet all of your daily bread needs; guide your feet along His paths of perfect peace, and show you over and over just how confident you can be in placing your trust in Him. From there, worthy one, He will show you when, and how, to trust others too.

Stay close to His heart, intimately connected to Him, and you will never miss out on the goodness He has planned for you!

Prayer:

I thank You, dearest Lord, for Your promises that are right, Holy, and true. I thank You Father for Your love; Your saving grace; and that You will lead me in Your paths of peace and pleasure, just as You have promised to do.

Cover me with a canopy of Your Kindness today, God, for I lean into, and I lean fully on You.
