“He who [dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].” Psalm 91:1 (AMPC)
There are times we all need a hiding place—from the circumstances of life, the trials and the challenges that wear us out, or seek to pull us down.  We can be tempted to hide in people, places, or things, that may only make it worse, not better.

Yet there is one safe haven to run to, a dwelling place secure where no evil will befall you and your presence is welcome, the security assured.  That sanctuary dear heart, is straight into the arms of the One Who watches out for you, and watches over you, with age-enduring love and care.

You can rest here, in the arms of the Most High, and give up the fight.  He is contending for you—that you can count on—and He never loses when He is in charge!

Rest. Remain. Abide.  That is what He so longs for, treasured one; that you would trust Him as your Shelter and Strong tower; Your Defender and your Champion God.  That is Who He is for you now, with overcoming strength and might, and Who He will forever be.
