Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could see after God and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near. We live and move in him, can’t get away from him! One of your poets said it well” “We’re the God-created”. Acts 17:26-28 (MSG)
What an honour it is to be invited by God to approach Him, to learn of Him and to recognize and heed Who He is in all His splendour and glory! By doing so, not only will we esteem Him in even greater measure, gaining a deeper appreciation of Who He is, and all that He has made, but we will find our own place of belonging in His heart, along with our own unique position in the world He created. A world filled to overflow with provision and made for our pleasure.
Oh, cherished child of the Most High God, truly you are the “God created” and that will never change. Made in love to be loved, you have the joy and privilege of learning of, leaning on, and loving the One Who is the Source of all life. He is always available and easily accessible for He is eternally and unconditionally devoted to, and deeply in love, with you!
Dearest Father, I thank You that I am indeed the word of Your hands and that my truest identity comes in knowing You and knowing who I am in, and to You!
The things of this world have made me see myself a certain way, maybe even seeing You in ways that are not true.
Would You come today Holy Spirit, reveal to me more of Who the Father truly is, and His beloved Son, and the beauty of Your life together, three in One.
Then show me too, who I am to You and who I am meant to be in the world that You have made. Now what others see—even me—but who You say I am to be.
In Your precious and Holy Name, I pray.
