God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on)"; 1 Corinthians 1:9(a) (AMPC)

When you believe what God says, take Him at His word, and trust Him, not only does this bless His heart and bring Him great joy, but your agreement with His Word sets in motion everything needed for those promises to be fulfilled—here on earth as they are in heaven.

Over every area of your life you can say, “Yes, Lord. I believe. I trust You, and I agree.” Even if you don’t fully see it yet or cannot imagine how it could be—if God has said it, then it is most certainly possible. On that you can depend.

If trust seems the last thing you can manage just now, simply ask, dear heart, for He knows He can be counted on, and He knows exactly how to help, encourage, and inspire new hope in you. Believing Him because of who He is matters to Him, for He wants you to know that He will never lie to you. It is simply not in His nature or character to do so. His words have substance; they create, and they are true.

Taking Him at His word is the very thing that will change your life, for, treasured child, His heart and His words are filled only and always with the best intentions for you.

Prayer:

Jesus, Your words are life, and Your words are true. Forgive me for all the times I have put more trust in others and in circumstances rather than in You.

You alone have the words of eternal life. You alone are faithful and true. Speak afresh to my heart today, Holy Spirit. Block out the words of the enemy—the ones that have come through others, and the ones I have agreed with myself. Where there is unbelief, even from years of disappointment and pain, would You heal my heart, Lord, so that I may trust again?

Whatever You say, Lord of my heart; whatever You desire—I trust and I believe. I look to You now, Jesus. I look to the One who is forever faithful and eternally true.
