God’s the one who rebuilds Jerusalem, who re-gathers Israel’s scattered exiles. He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and assigns each a name. Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does. GOD puts the fallen on their feet again and pushes the wicked into the ditch”. Psalm 147:2-6 (MSG)

We all get cuts and bruises, scrapes and scratches, on this journey of life.  Despite our best efforts and good intentions, it is kind of hard not to. But there is a remedy for all the pain; a balm of healing for all the sorrow; a source of strength when our weary heart wants to quit.  
 
It is God, your God, Who renews, restores, and re-builds. He sets right what was wrong; heals what hurts; picks you up brushing off the weight of the world; and puts things back in order again.  He does that with mercy and kindness, never expecting more from you than you are able to do.  Quite the contrary, He wants to do it for you, if you will let Him.  
 
Oh cherished child, do not stay down where others have tried to put you, when the God of all Creation, the One Who loves you so, is right there, at the ready to pick you up, and carry you into the place of promise He has purposed for you.
 
Won’t you take His hand and trust in His limitless strength?  He will never let you go.
