But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us”. Romans 5:8 (AMPC) God is love and His love never fails. Sin confessed is always sin forgiven, no matter how impossible that seems. It has already been accomplished in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, the Messiah, your Saviour and Lord. Because of all He has done, former wrongs once confessed, are remembered no more, never to be mentioned again.
In John 19:30, Jesus says, “It is finished”. In the Greek language that was communicated in just one word, “tetelestai”, meaning, paid in full, or cancelled. Jesus was saying to you and to the whole world He came to redeem and restore—whatever was wrong, I have made right. Whatever was broken, can now be repaired. All sin confessed is completely covered—no additional payment needed or accepted. Any debt owing or punishment required has been fulfilled. This is what Jesus wanted to do, dear one, and has already done for you! Complete within Himself, He now pours that completeness into you. Sometimes in return all we can give is our emptiness and inadequacy—that is all He asks for. That we would trust Him with all we have—big or small, whole or broken, He accepts it all. He is not expecting more. And remember; He is not looking for perfection from you. He alone is perfect and He wants to give Himself to you. Jesus can make you whole, doing for you what nothing, or no one, could ever do. Taking the shattered bits and pieces you give Him, making all things new. Not just sometimes, but all the time. Not just some days, but every day. Are you overwhelmed by the relentless reminders of what you have done or failed to do? Are you looking at life through the regrets of the past, where guilt and shame prevail? Or are you looking ahead to the endless possibilities found within the glorious future ahead? Remember God’s all consuming, unconditional love, blots out the past—all of our sins, lapses, and frailties. He speaks to us instead of the good things He has in mind, all that He has planned, and the heaven-born hope He has promised. No matter what you have done or will do, He will be true to you. Oh beauty, treasure of the Most-High God—don’t you know that love—true love—is always looking out for, and looking after you! Only receive this gift of extravagant grace and let His miracles of mercy take their place! Prayer: I need Your miracles of mercy today, Lord. I need Your love and Your amazing grace. I lift my life to you—past, present, and future—I lift my spirit, soul, and body too. Heal the broken places Poppa, the worries and the weight. Fill my life with the substance of Who You are, redeem, restore, renew. Let my life be the manifestation of Your dream’s coming true. Lead me forward into faith’s perfection, Jesus. I will follow You.
