“Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC)
In the midst of all the love that has come and gone, or never come at all; in the middle of promises made or broken; God’s words are life, and they are true. “I will never leave you or forsake you. My heart of love is set upon you,” He says, as only a true Father, your Abba, can do.
He speaks in kindness and in love, with complete acceptance of even those parts you may not be able to accept about yourself. There is nothing more certain in all the world that His abiding love and devotion to you! Don’t you love that, dear one? He will never let go. Never relax His hold on you.
He knows what you need—what you are asking for and require—before you even know yourself. And in the midst of all of that, He has gone ahead, working all things out, all for your good!
“Come to Me as your Father,” He says, “I am listening. I am always here, ready to answer, to bestow My blessings upon you.” And He will do it too, cherished one—what no one else could possibly do!
Celebrate, rejoice, and give thanks, for Love—pure, undefiled, selfless Love, is seeking out, covering, and caring deeply—for fearfully and wonderfully made, you!
