Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC)
In the midst of all the love in your life that has come and gone, or never come at all; in the middle of promises made or broken; God’s words are life, and they are true. “I will never leave you or forsake you. My heart of love is set upon you,” He says, as only a true Father, your Abba, can do.
He speaks in kindness and in love, with complete acceptance of all of you, including those parts you may struggle to accept about yourself. There is nothing more certain in all the world than His abiding love and devotion to you! Don’t you love that, dear one? He will never let go. Never relax His hold on you.
He knows what you need—what you are asking for and require—before you even know yourself. And in the midst of all of that, He has gone ahead, working all things out—all for your good!
“Come to Me as your faithful Father,” He says, “I am listening. I am always here, ready to answer, to bestow My blessings upon you.” And He will do it too, cherished one—what no one else could possibly do!
Celebrate, rejoice, and give thanks, for Love—pure, undefiled, selfless Love, is seeking out, covering, and caring deeply—for fearfully and wonderfully made, you!
Dearest Father and Lord, how incredible it is to think that You, God of all Creation, Maker of heaven and earth, would have time for me, and care about me to this degree.
That even what may feel like the most desperate of times, I am not alone, for Your love and support are there, even in ways I cannot see.
Place Your hand of blessing upon me today, Lord, I pray. Upon my life, and all things concerning me. In these present circumstances Father, I need You, and I know that You are near.
My, Ever Present Help in times of trouble, I sing my praises to You!
