Love never brings fear, for fear is always related to punishment. But love’s perfection drives the fear of punishment far from our hearts”. 1 John:18(a) (TPT)

So often we struggle in life, waiting and wanting to reach some kind of perceived perfection, before we can come to Jesus to offer Him our hearts and surrender our lives. In reality, quite the opposite is true. It is only in coming to Him, and embracing the fullness of His redeeming love, that we are made perfect, complete, and whole—spirit, soul, body, and our entire lives too!
 
Instead of fear of failure, concerns about being corrected, rejected, or punished for all that you see as lack; you will be swept up in the arms of love, to be nurtured, accepted, healed, redeemed, spoken tenderly to. Gently reminded of Who you belong to and what His love can do.
 
Love’s embrace, accepting and unconditional, will lead and guide you, teach and equip you—help you understand what went wrong—and empower you for any changes that may be needed to make things right! 
 
Oh, cherished one, don’t you know it’s true. God is not waiting to deal with all that you think is wrong with you. He is wanting to tell you everything that is wonderful and right, about deeply valued, adored, and perfected in love, you! 

Prayer:

What wonderful good news this is Jesus, that in Your great love and mercy, You are waiting and wanting to tell me all that love, Your love, will do!

I confess Lord that I have not always felt worthy of love, or known how to love You, love others, or love myself. And You alone know the deep wounds that have come when I have looked to others to love me in the accepting, healing, and redeeming way that You alone can do—a love that is unconditional, unwavering, and true.

I put off all that is false today, Father: the lies, the limits, and the lack, and I clothe myself in You. Love eternal. Love divine. The purest and most accepting love my heart can find. 

I am my Beloved’s and He is mine. Let the banner of Your loyal love fly high over my life. Love’s perfection has arrived.
