But now [in spite of past judgments for Israel’s sins], thus says the Lord, He Who created you, O Jacob, and He Who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives]; I have called you by your name; you are Mine”. Isaiah 43:1 (AMPC)
On the worst of days we can feel, or be made to feel, that our life is over—that all hope is gone and our chances to start over are gone right along with it—but beloved one, this is simply not true!

There is no low place where God cannot find you. No darkness too great for His light to break through. The truth is you are completely and fully redeemed already—saved from whatever pit, large or small, you may have found yourself in. Pulled up and out to a new place, by the hand of a loving God.

He will never leave you without hope or leave you alone—not for one second. You are of such great value to Him that He was willing to pay whatever cost necessary, even the precious life of His own dear Son, Jesus, to see you saved from a life of slavery and sin, and returned to the glorious future and eternal hope He had purposely planned.

That is how valuable and precious you are, dear one. That is how deep His unbreakable and unwavering commitment is to you. Lean into this promise even now, if you can. These indestructible promises of redemption are from the Lord your God, faithful and true, and they are most definitely, and intentionally given, to Israel His beloved, and to you.

Prayer:

Help me today, Holy Spirit I pray, to understand the depth of these words and the freedom and hope found within. There are so many times when I have condemned myself—held myself hostage to past sins and regrets—and been held that way by others, too.

But here You are, Glorious God, rescuing me from the lies of the past, the shame, and the pain, and in and through Jesus, continually reminding me to begin again.

Let Your mercy kiss be upon my life today, as I run to, and hide myself in You. Because of Your great promises, Lord, I place my confident trust in Who You are, in all that You have said, and in all that You will do.

Jesus, the Anointed One, it is in Your powerful and precious Name, I pray.
