'Come', says the Holy Spirit and the Bride in divine duet. Let everyone who hears this duet join them in saying, 'Come'".  Revelation 22:17(a) (TPT)

In this scripture we see a beautiful picture of the Bride of Christ—His chosen Church—in divine unity and harmony with the Holy Spirit—calling out to Jesus, her Redeemer and Lord, to come. To come quickly in the fullness of Who He is, as the Bright Morning Star, the Alpha and Omega. Our eternal hope.

The word “come” in this application can also mean, “be continuously coming”, and though it is set here in this context of the great and wonderful day of the Lord, when darkness is no more and all is gloriously light, no need to wait, for Jesus will hear your hearts cry even now!

Are there areas of darkness in your life where you so long to see His light shine through—within your own heart, your family, or your circumstances? Places of pain and struggle where you need Him most of all? Beloved one, deeply cherished bride of the Blessed Lord Jesus—call out to Him today. Join your voice with the precious Holy Spirit and say, “Come Lord Jesus. In the fullness of Your Majesty. I need You. Come into the deepest places of pain, sadness and fear. Come as redemption, as healing, as hope. Come, and with all your radiant beauty, draw near.”

Oh, don’t you know, divinely loved one, that that is exactly what He will do. Only ask, dear heart, and know, that in the fullness of all He is, He is continually coming to you!

Prayer:

What a comfort this is today, Lord, to be able to call to You, to know that You are near, that You care, and that You always listen, and hear. I do ask You to come, Precious Jesus, in the fullness of Your majesty. I invite You into the deepest places of pain, sadness, and fear. I ask that You would come as redemption, as healing, as hope. Come into my life and my heart.  Let Your love and steadfast kindness overshadow me.

Come, and with all your radiant beauty, the joy of my heart, draw near.
