Don’t be afraid, I’ve redeemed you. I’ve called your name. You’re mine. When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end—Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy One of Israel, your Saviour. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That’s how much you mean to me! That’s how much I love you’”! Isaiah 43:1–4 (MSG)
Dear child of God, chosen and cherished, you are His own special creation; adored as His beloved one. You are the object of His unfailing devotion; His deepest desires and dream come true. His affections are set upon you. He knows your name, for it is written on the palm of His hand, and etched for eternity in His heart.
He formed you with great care; fashioned you with intricate attention to detail; created you with loving intent; and world-changing purpose. He made the world and all that is in it for you to flourish in and enjoy! Set you in the midst of His creation, calling you forth into friendship and fellowship with the King—giving you stewardship and dominion over all that He has made. You have purpose, value, and position within His divine and perfect plan.
Look upon the beauty of the One Who loves you so. He sees you for who you really are and who you are destined to be. You can tell Him even now if you are struggling to believe. Fear from past disappointments, negative expectations that things will never work out—He understands precious one. More than you know. Simply share your heart with Him now, for in sharing that truth, you will be free, and see the glorious future ahead, just as He sees.
Don’t worry about all that was—the past or the pain. Gather it up and place it in His loving hands to be rescued, restored, and redeemed. Look ahead, courageous one, to all that is yet to be, and rejoice. The One Who comes to help you, your very personal God, is on the scene!
