When You give it to them, they gather it up; You open Your hand, and they are filled with good things”. Psalm 104:28 (AMPC)

So much comes at us in life—fears and frustrations, barriers and blockages, delays and debts. It can overwhelm us on the good days, and downright sink us on the bad ones. Today though, precious one, look up! Exactly where you are right now—disappointed in yourself, in others, and perhaps even in God.  Not only does He understand with the deepest of caring compassion, He is also a God Who makes things right.  Makes them right with an abundance of blessings waiting for you.

Let everything else go—the pain, the shame, the regret, and embrace instead all that He is sending to you. Not only will He fill your days; your hours; and your life with good things, but He will fill your heart to overflow in just the same way! This is how much He loves you, dearest one. This is how much He loves so.

Prayer:

Jesus, it feels at times that all I have is this broken bucket, filled with the bits and pieces of my life; the disappointments and the pain; the hopes and the dreams still unfulfilled. And it seems impossible that it could ever be other than it is today.

Yet I hear the promise the Father has given, that He will fill my life with good things and that His heart towards me is greater than all that is set against me.

I lift this bucket up to You today, Jesus, to take out the broken bits—all the shattered shards too painful for me to hold, and I ask You to remove them all. I pray, Jesus, that You would fill the holes in the bucket—making the container of my life restored, healed in every way, and brand new. Ready to receive, and to hold, all the goodness that comes only from You.

In Your kindness, Lord, fill it up with good things from Your abundant supply, so that my life, filled with joy, will bring joy to You also, and great glory too!
