God, treat us kindly.  You’re our only hope.  First thing in the morning, be there for us!  When things go bad, help us out”! Isaiah 33:2 (MSG)

Kindness is God’s nature, it is Who He is, and what He does. Therefore, it is a good thing when He becomes our only hope, as the Scripture says, as hope in Him never disappoints. We can trust in His character, His nature, and His ways. First thing in the morning—He is there. Last thing at night—He is there. And all through the night His covering of love is over you, watching, healing, loving, and caring.

In good times, He is right there. Bad times, the same. Always at the ready to make things right. That is your promise, beauty, from the One Who is faithful and true. And dear heart, He is wildly in love with you. 

He looks for, longs, and waits for you to call to Him—to run to Him in celebration and in sorrow—and to find your place in the security of His unfailing love. Never wonder or worry when He will come, for His arms of love are waiting always. Simply turn around, and see! Always, forever, eternally there! Committed to, and caring for, cherished and chosen, you!

Prayer:

Father, dear Father, Your kindness is my saving grace. When I fall, You pick me up. When I am down, You lift me up. I am so grateful that it could be so.

Lift me up today, Poppa, I pray. Above the circumstances and the situations that want to weigh me down. Let me see as You see and come to a greater understanding of the redemption that is mine in Christ, and the fullness of Your hope-filled and life-giving ways. 

Come even now, Lord, and do what only You can do. Your miracle mercies are my saving grace. With all my heart, I am watching and waiting for You!
