They asked Him, ‘Teacher, we know that You speak and teach what is right, and that You show no partiality to anyone but teach the way of God honestly and in truth’”. Luke 20:21 (AMPC)

We may all have memories of teachers from our past—some in a classroom setting whose inspiration lifted us up and made us feel that we could do anything.  Then others perhaps whose words of judgment or accusation tore us down. Parents may have built us up and taught us right from wrong, or we may have been left to figure things out on our own—struggling to find our way when the proper guidance was not there.

God created us to continue to learn and grow, increasing in wisdom and understanding, and being transformed from glory to glory! This life He gave us is to be a continual journey of joy as we expand in knowledge and revelation of Who He is; of who we are to Him; of the life He designed us to live in the world He created for us all. 

We were never left to figure it out on our own, rather we have Jesus, our Teacher and Friend, Who will lovingly lead and guide us into all truth. He knows the best ways we learn, and exactly what we need to learn (and unlearn) at every stage of our lives.

What wonderings are in your heart today, beauty? Where do you feel you are lacking in understanding or longing to know more? To grow? Jesus, the most wonderful Teacher dwells richly inside of you.
 
Dear heart—let the questions flow! 

Prayer:

I ask You, Jesus, with a grateful heart, that You would bring Your truth to me today, for You are Truth. Reveal the lies I have believed, about You, myself, and others. Lead me into all truth and continue to light the way.

Let Your pure river of revelation flow, moulding, shaping, transforming my life—teaching me all I need to know.
