Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent? If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him”! We all carry people in our hearts that we care deeply about, and in that caring we think of, or long for, the good things we would like to give them. A helping hand; to be a strength or support; the gift of time, a talent or treasure that will make their life a little easier along the way. Even with all of our limits or liabilities, our hearts still desire to bless those we most care about with the most we have!
 
Now just imagine, beloved, that your God, the wonderful One Who is perfect in all of His ways, wants to do these very same things (and more) for you. And for those you care about too.
 
Open your heart wide to ask for what you need. Then open your arms wider still to receive, for God will do infinitely more than you could ask for, or imagine—in the most extraordinary and life-giving ways! Seek Him today, dear heart, for all that matters most to you. He is at the ready to respond with miracles of mercy, as only He can do!

Prayer:
 
Dearest Father, I come to You today, with so many needs at times it feels like You could not possibly answer. I worry that I weary You with all my words and yet, You listen still! Then there are all the hearts desires I say over and over; some too tender, too deep within to adequately express.
 
But You know these things, oh God, before I even ask. Nothing is hidden from the light of Your generous love, or from Your tender mercy and care.

For all that is spoken and unspoken, today, I come to You. I thank You that You knew the answer, before I asked; planned to provide, before I was aware of what I would need. You are a great and glorious God, generous, kind, and loving. You are a good, good Father, and worthy of all praise!
 
I receive by faith Father, all that You desire to do, for You are the God of my life, and I worship You!
