We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it”! Ephesians 2:10 (TPT) No matter who people say you are, who you think you are, or what you have been called, the truth is you were created, made new, in the image and likeness of God, to carry His glory, and fulfill the divine destiny He has called you to! First and foremost, you are joined to Jesus, your Redeemer and Friend, for all of time, and you are a cherished child of the Most High God, precious and priceless in His sight!
Others may try to put their fingerprints on you, mold or make you into who they think you should be—so often based on who they want or need you to be—but you are His alone. Your identity is secure in Him and your destiny established, too. As you abide in Him, and He in you, you are living in the authenticity of who you truly are. In this place of belonging, you are accepted, celebrated, deeply loved and care for—chosen, cherished, and completely free! Don’t let anyone else define your identity, or tell you who you are meant to be, for you are unique and lovely in every way, a song of God’s own poetry! Sing your own song, beloved. Shine bright in His love for all the world to see! Prayer: Precious Lord, dust off my destiny today, I pray, and all that You have planned for me. In all the ways it has been hidden, trampled down, moulded by others, or marred, I ask that You would make it all wonderfully new! I long to walk in the fullness of all that You had purposed for me from the beginning of time—the abundance of life, the richness of love, and the perfection You had planned—walking in Your ways alone so that I may honour You. Joined to You Jesus, I know that is exactly how it will be, for in You is the fullness of life—in You I am safe and loved, cherished and cared for, and I am free! Let me reflect Your beauty to the world I pray, dearest Lord. Let me reveal the kindness of our loving God, as I live in You, and live out all You created me to be!
