“[The God of Glory] How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.” Ephesians 1:3 (4,5) (MSG)
We may find ourselves in situations where we feel we are the object of someone’s scorn, rejection, or disappointment. It can happen, but it does not define who we are, the life we have now, or the future yet to be. In fact, quite the opposite is true—your future was set before time began, before the foundations of the world were laid—when God, Who blesses us with every good blessing, and Who Himself is a blessing, set His love and affection upon you!
You precious one are the very object of His attention and tenderhearted care. Disappointed or rejected—no, this could never be. You, who are made perfect in love, wrapped up securely in Christ, covered in grace immeasurable, take His breath away.
Surrounded in beauty and grace, you bring a smile to the heart of God, for to Him, you are perfect in every way! Oh Beauty, what glorious good news this is, a liberating freedom meant to bring a smile to your heart too!
