Oh, thank God—He’s so good! His love never runs out”. Psalm 107:1 (MSG)

What a phenomenal gift this wonder working God of all creation has given to each one of us! In His goodness and by His grace, He pours out His abundant, abiding, love into, and over, every area of our lives. This is the good kind of love—the, “I don’t need anything from you kind”! The, “I love you just the way you are and I love you for who you are”—kind of love. A love that never gives up, never gives in, never runs out!
 
It is not withdrawn or taken back when we feel we are too much; have not done enough; or have messed things up once again. It does not pull away when we are weak, or weary, or worn out. Instead, God’s steadfast, enduring love, is always there. It whispers in the dark nights of our soul, “Come close and I will make you whole”.

It is a word of comfort to steady us when we stumble and a strong arm to pick us right back up when we fall. God’s love for us dreams the best, hopes the best, and never fails us in our hours, days, or moments, of need. 
 
Oh, thank God that His love never runs out! Lean into this love, precious one, it is right there waiting, with an abundance of goodness—in overflowing measure, for you! 

Prayer:

Precious Lord, I praise You for this promise that Your love never runs out, and that no matter what I do, You never run away!

You know the ways I have loved and lost. The ways I have been left. The leaving I have done, but You never leave or forsake us. And Your love never gives up.

This is all too wonderful for me to comprehend, Lord, and sometimes it is hard to trust that it could be so. Still, I take You at Your word today, because I know that You could never lie. 

You are good and You are God. I thank You for Your marvellous kindness; Your miracles of mercy; and Your love that never runs away and never runs out. 

You are the substance of all we need.  Our strength in the storms. The only safe place to go.
