I am your only God, the living God. Wasn’t I the one who broke the strongholds over you and raised you up out of bondage? Open your mouth with a mighty decree; I will fulfill it now, you’ll see! The words that you speak, so shall it be”! Psalm 81:10 (TPT)

There is a good and grace-filled stronghold that we all long to live in—the place of safety tucked up in the Father’s arms, held securely in His wrap-around presence, surrounded and sustained by His love. That is the stronghold of peace, the place where the soul can finally rest.

But there are also other “strongholds” that can form in life—patterns of thought, fear, expectation, or belief that begin to confine us rather than protect us. Some are shaped by our own inner dialogue, some by painful experiences, and some by the voices or actions of others. They can quietly become mental or emotional places where we feel stuck, limited, or held back.

Yet no matter what situation you find yourself in today—whether internal struggles or external pressures—the One true and living God is not distant from it. He is present within it, able to bring rescue, truth, and freedom.

He does not only offer encouragement from afar; He brings liberation from within. His words carry life, and His truth has power to break what feels unbreakable. Where lies have built walls, His voice brings light. Where heaviness has settled in, His presence brings release.

And as He leads you, it is often gently and simply—turning your attention away from what has bound you and toward what is true. He does not overwhelm; He restores. He does not shame; He renews. He does not abandon; He draws near.

So open your heart before Him today. Let Him speak into the places that feel tight, weary, or confined. There is no lack in Him—only fullness of life, wisdom, and love. Everything you need for healing, clarity, and freedom is found in His presence.

And as He leads you into truth, you begin to walk out of what once held you, and into what He has already prepared for you: peace, strength, and freedom in Him.

Prayer:

Dearest Father and Lord, You are the only true and living God. I thank You for the words You have spoken over my life—words of truth, hope, and restoration.

Help me to see my life and my circumstances as You see them. Teach me to recognize what aligns with Your truth and what does not. Give me ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying to me, and the courage to agree with You in every area of my life.

Where my thoughts have been shaped by fear or pain, renew my mind with Your truth. Where I have felt bound or limited, release me into the freedom of Your presence. Where I have believed anything less than what You say about me, bring healing and clarity.

I choose to trust You, Lord. I choose to receive what You are speaking. I choose to walk in the freedom You provide.

I praise You today, my Eternal Father, my Saviour, and my Lord, and I receive all that You have for me.
