You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you”. John 15:16 (AMPC)
How wonderful it is to be chosen, special and set apart, especially in a world that at times, wants to push us out, or in the encounters with people who want to push us away. In the midst of rejection, great or small, included or excluded, loved or left, Jesus Himself has picked you up, and chosen you as His very own!

Not only has He specifically chosen you, according to the Father’s good will and pleasure, but He has appointed you to, and for, some very specific things—areas of impact and influence that no one else is called to, or can do!

In may be in your family; community; through your work or ministry; but in the very place that He has planted you, He fully intended that you would grow in Him, abide with Him, and flourish. Bearing abundant fruit and changing your part of the world together, in unity of heart and purpose, experiencing great joy together, too!

Go forth, dear heart, in the blessings you have been called to—today and every day. Celebrate. Rejoice. Receive. You are already chosen, called, anointed, equipped, and set apart. Ask for what you need, in the sphere of influence He has placed you in.

It is God’s great desire, and full intention through Jesus, to give all that you need, and so more!

Prayer:

Lord, sometimes I hesitate to ask, as it feels like I already have too much, or ask to much, and even on some days, that I just may be bothering You! However, I know from Your Word and knowing Your heart for me, that none of that is true!

In fact, it is just the opposite, for You have planned for all that we would do together, setting the provision aside already—all I need to do is ask.

I do ask today, Poppa, for the fullness of all that You have purposed and planned for my life. For the daily bread provision in every area of need, and the above and beyond what I could ask or imagine promises, that You have so lovingly purposed to do.

Remove any barriers, Lord, from my ability to receive—in not seeing You as the generous, gracious, and giving God that You are, and not seeing myself as worthy to receive.

I know it all comes by grace, Poppa, and it is Your good pleasure to give. I know that Jesus has made a way for the fullness of Who You are, and all that He has, to be mine as well, to live the life You have for me—to walk by faith, being fruitful in all things, and to believe.

I do believe today, precious Lord, and with a very thankful heart, I receive.
