You may have heard the phrase, “running on empty” or perhaps even felt it intensely at the end of a busy day. Worn out and weary, feeling like you had nothing else to give. However, sometimes being at the end of ourselves is the absolute best place to be, for it is in this place that we realize how little we can actually do on our own.
This does not mean in any way that we are alone, without help, or hope. Quite the opposite is true as there is a greater One in our midst Who’s supernatural strength will equip, enable, and carry us through. God’s divine might is available to us, because His Holy Spirit resides within us, and He will do for us what only He can do.
Every good and lasting change in our lives, and all enduring fruit, is brought about by the grace-filled work of the Holy Spirit. His explosive power—the same miracle working force that raised Jesus from the dead—will heal, deliver, and empower you to fulfill your greatest purposes, and God’s highest intent. He will lead you into the truth of who you are to God and Who God is to you. He will teach you to pray and accomplish the Father’s good pleasure in every area of your life as you do!
Don’t go it alone, dear heart. That was never God’s desire for you. Rather, invite the Holy Spirit afresh into your life today. Let the limitless power of God be at work within you; His Divine life flowing through you as you walk with the Holy Spirit—your closest Confidant, Companion, and Friend. He will never leave you or lead you astray. And if you allow Him—He will work in your life in the most glorious, life-giving, loving, and encouraging ways!
I am so often focused Lord on what I am not, rather than mediating and focusing on Who You are!
You are the great and mighty God. You are Creator and King. Giver of Life, and Ruler over all!
Jesus, You are in us, working through us, holding all things together in Your generous, redeeming love.
Holy Spirit You are the substance of all I need and Your life in me changing everything.
Come now Father, Son, and Precious Holy Spirit, I pray. Fill up all the broken places; transform all the broken pieces; and bring the fullness of Who You are—in power and in love.
Heal me, deliver and empower me to be in You, all You created me to be. To do all You desire and designed me to do.
Let it be for Your glory Lord. Let it all be for You.
