Anyone who confesses (acknowledges, owns) that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides (lives, makes His home) in him and he [abides, lives, makes his home] in God”. 1 John 4:15 (AMPC)
This invitation to find home in God’s heart of extravagant love is issued by the Father, comes through Jesus Christ His Beloved Son, and is brought to pass by the miraculous power of the Precious Holy Spirit. The price was dear and the cost high for this way of union and communion to be made—the fullness of the life of Christ in all His perfection offered up for you. A gift freely given as a part of this great exchange: His death for your life; His bruising for your healing; His separation from God so that you could be joined as one forever.
Fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the blessing of perfect unmerited favour and a life walked out in matchless mercy and grace. Deep in God’s heart of love we receive the keys we need to unlock our past as well as specific revelation to understand the good things He has planned for the days yet to be. There is knowledge and wisdom that allows us to walk fully alive today, and to be confident in a triumphant tomorrow. Apart from Him, beloved one, nothing quite makes sense.
Dwelling inside the heart of God, the One who is unshakable in all of His ways, assures you great stability for all of your days. Come, cherished child—abide in Him and leave everything else behind. Run into the arms of the One Who knows you as no one ever will. Find home afresh in His heart of unwavering, unending, unconditional love and care. He is waiting for you there!
Today Jesus, I do acknowledge that You are the Son of God. I choose to make my home in You, and with all the my, I ask that You would make Your home in my heart too.
There is no greater joy, no greater hope, than to live my life in You, abiding always in the centre of Your unending and eternal love.
I was made for this place Jesus. For now, and forever more. With all my heart I thank You that it could be so.
