And your priestly lovers, those you’ve chosen, will be greatly favored to be brought close to you. What inexpressible joys are theirs! What feasts of mercy fill them in your heavenly sanctuary! How satisfied we will be just to be near you”! Psalm 65:4 (TPT)
Life can be hard, as we know—things get broken, sometimes all at once, or painfully chipped away at over time. Hearts break, homes fall apart, dreams come crashing down. Tender things get bruised—like egos and self-esteem. Feelings get stepped on and crushed, leaving us empty and alone. If this is you, take heart dear one—for there is Someone safe and strong, already waiting to hold your hand, to pick you up, and pick up all those broken pieces too!
That Someone is Jesus Christ, God’s own Beloved Son, Who knows you so well, and all the twists and turns of life you have experienced. With the purest of intentions, and kind-hearted, tender devotion, He wants to bring you close, in fellowship and love, to experience the abundance of favour, mercy, and grace, found in the presence of the Father’s heart. And to live out His desires for you.
There is another road to travel, away from the brokenness and pain, to a place where the fullness of joy can be restored once again. God Himself has heard your cries. Draw near to Him today beloved, tuck yourself up in the sanctuary of His love, for He will answer you, swiftly, surely, and in the most amazing life-restoring ways.
Lord, You have promised that where You are, I can be also, because I am in You! I ask today Jesus, that You would lift me up, above the circumstances; the shame; the pain; and establish me fully in Your presence again.
For in Your presence is fullness of joy, and feasts of mercy, just as you say! That is where I want to be Lord, today and every day!
My heart is full Father, with gratitude and joy—because of Jesus, I am close to You! This Lord, is a dream come true! I am satisfied in Your love Gracious Lord. Rescued from all that is not Your best, I am redeemed, restored, and made new!
Let it all be, always, just as You say Lord, and let it all be for Your glory, I pray.
