“Call to Me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvellous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.” Jeremiah 33:3 (MSG)
Standing in this moment of time, more aware of what has been, than what will be, we may wonder, or worry—what does the future hold? Will this year be better than the last—easier, happier, more productive? Are there joys ahead, or trials to great to bear?
We wonder, but not alone, for listen to this remarkable invitation; this incredible offer from the One Who knows you so well, loves you so much, and sees all things: “Precious one, dear to My heart, no matter how much you try, you will never figure this year, or any other year out, on your own. But if you ask Me, I am here. If you call to Me; I will answer for I am always near”!
Oh joy of joys, what promise this is! You can ask freely, putting words to your wonderings, and calling out: “Father, dear Father, tell me of these marvellous things I do not know. Tell me of You, Your nature, Your character, and the wonder of Your great love. Tell me the wondrous plans that You have made for me”.
Then peace will come, cherished one, flowing like a river from heaven above. Washing away heart worries, anxieties, and fear. You can cherish His words, being blessed beyond expectation, as the things He has planned are good, because He is good, and because beloved, He planned them all intentionally, and specifically, for you.
Never stop asking and never fear, for the God of all praise is with you always, and His gracious love is focused on you. He takes delight in hearing the sound of your voice and in answering your prayers—many times before you even ask! He rejoices in pouring out the richness of His goodness over you, and over all things concerning you too!
Come Holy Spirit of the Living God and reveal the beauty of the Father’s heart, for us, and for all He has created. Thank You for Your willingness to show us heaven’s ways, and to help us become more like Jesus, day by day.
You hear our hearts, and answer us, in the most miraculous ways. You always know exactly what to do, and precisely what to say. For this we give You our deepest thanks, and our highest praise!
For the glory of the Lord, and the Father’s good pleasure, we pray.
