Call to Me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvellous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own”. Jeremiah 33:3 (MSG)
Standing in this moment of time, more aware of what has been, than what will be, we may wonder—what does the future hold? Will this year be better than the last—easier, happier, more productive? Are there joys ahead, or trials too great to bear?
We wonder, but not alone, for listen to this remarkable invitation, this incredible offer from the One Who knows you so well, loves you so much, and sees all things. “Precious one, dear to My heart, no matter how much you try, you will never figure this year, or any other year out, on your own. But if you ask Me, I am here. If you call to Me, I will answer. I am always near”!
Oh, joy of joys, what promise this is! You can ask freely, putting words to your wonderings, and calling out, “Father, dear Father, tell me of the marvellous things I do not know. Teach me more about Who You are and the wonder of Your great love. Tell me the wondrous plans that You have made so I can walk in Your ways”.
Then peace will come, flowing like a river, washing away heart worries and fears. You can cherish His words, being blessed beyond expectation in them, for the things He has planned are good, because He is good! Deeply loved one, He planned them all intentionally, and specifically, for you.
Never stop asking, beloved one, and never fear. For the God we praise is with you always and His face is turned towards you. He takes delight in hearing, in answering, and in pouring out the richness of His goodness over you, and over all things concerning you too!
Come Holy Spirit of the Living God and reveal the beauty of the Father’s heart, for me, and for all He has created. Thank You for Your willingness to show me heaven’s ways, and to help me become more like Jesus, day by day.
You hear my heart, and answer me, in the most miraculous ways. You always know exactly what to do, and precisely what to say. For this I give You my deepest thanks, and highest praise!
For the glory of the Lord, and the Father’s good pleasure, I pray.
