So often in life we try to be what everyone else wants us to be, or who we think they want or need us to be, so that we can win whatever it is we think we need to win from them. We reach for love, belonging, approval, acceptance from outside sources instead of finding the true joy in simply being who God has made us to be—someone pre-approved, loved and accepted, in every possible way!

Uniquely and marvelously made as a gift for the world, you have purpose, value, and worth given by God, and existing deep within your own heart to be shared with others, not hidden away. No need to ever compromise your own heart to try and gain something from another person—especially since in Christ—it is everything you already so richly posses!  


Cherished child of the Most High God, be you! Be free! It is the most secure, solid and glorious place to be. Strip off the masks, the striving and the stress—find the freedom and the rest that comes when you accept the wonder of who you are—just exactly as He created you to be!

Look beauty, it’s true! All of His works are breathtaking, and that beloved one, includes you!

Prayer:

Dearest Father, with a humble heart I thank you that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and marvellous are the works of Your hand. There are times Poppa that I just can’t see it—I see only what others have told me all of my life and the judgments I have made against myself—rather than who You say I am.

Let Your voice, the voice of love, be the loudest voice in my life I pray, and let me find my truest self, in who I really am, in, and to You. Let me find the peace that comes from being exactly who You made me to be, and in that peace Lord, let me live and stay completely and gloriously free!

For Who You are Lord, and all You have done, I give You thanks and praise.
