All kinds of chaos can happen in life, in all kinds of ways. We try to make it right, bring order, and fix it, often only making things worse. But here is a far greater story, that not only eclipses, but gives meaning to our own. It is a story written for, and about, beautiful, exquisitely made, wonderful you!

You see it is God Who has made you, specifically and with focused intent, with His very own creative and skillful hands. He formed and fashioned you in love, and right from the very first moment of time He said, “Now this is really good”!

He thoroughly approved you then, and does so even now, mix-ups, messes, and all. He sets you on display, never hiding you away, holding you up for all the world to see. He says, “Look what I have made. This is My beloved, My beautiful One. Isn’t she lovely”? The heavens echo back, “Yes, she is lovely in every way”! You were flawlessly created, pleasant, and very good! Past mistakes and missteps fade away as joy-filled hope springs forth for a brand-new day.

Celebrate the wonder and the beauty of who you are, lovely one. Don’t let anyone take that from you.  Forgive them in fact, for they just don’t know and can’t see! God is celebrating with you, and He Who made you, more than anyone else in the whole world, knows that celebrating is the exact right thing to do!

Prayer:

Dearest Father and Lord, 

How often I have felt less than or not enough, and yet in Your great kindness and care, you melt my heart once again with truth—the truth of how You see me. The truth of who You made me to be.

Let every word that is not from You fall away today and let my life shine with praises to our God. The One Who made me, Who loves me, Who redeems me, and Who is continually bringing me back around to the glorious truth of who I am; because of Who’s I am!

Yes Lord, for all You have designed and desired for me—I agree!
