“You see, to love God means that we keep His commands, and His commands don’t weigh us down.” 1 John 5:3 (VOICE)
What are those commandments He asks us to keep?  Only to love Him with all of our hearts, and to love those He loves, which is everyone!  On a good day, that may not seem so hard, with all the right people to care for, but on a bad day, it can be difficult and we may struggle.  Not only in receiving His love for ourselves, which is most important place to begin, but also in reflecting that love to others.

Even that He does not expect us to do without Him, or without His help.  In fact, He has made it clear that without Him, we can do nothing—no good thing!  We need Him every hour—to love us, to teach us to love ourselves, and to allow Him to love others through us, even if we don’t always feel that way on our own.

His love is greater than our limits for His love is limitless. No matter how we feel personally, we can love those He places in our lives, just because He loves them so.  And we can love them with the love He gives us which is the best way of all!

Are you feeling a lack of life and love for God, for yourself, or for others?  Just ask treasured one, for you will be asking for the very thing that is most on His heart to give! And that is a prayer He always answers, for true love comes straight from God!

Beloved, you are loved by God, with a love that never stops giving. And this God Who loves you so, has an endless supply of all you need.  You are His Emissary, His Ambassador to reflect His healing heart to those in your own world, and the world beyond.  If you let Him do the loving through you, it is as easy as can be!

Prayer:

Guardian God, our Father, and King, You alone are our help and our salvation, our healing and our hope.  We know that there is no risk of failure in You, for You will lead us by Your Spirit into all truth.

As You teach us, instruct us, correct us, convict us, love us and heal us, we submit our lives to You.  Forgive us for when we go our own way, agreeing with what the enemy says to us about ourselves, and  believing the lies he tells us about others.

Let us be clothed instead in Your grace and truth, seeing ourselves and those around us, just exactly as You do!

Show us the path of life Dear Father.  The one You have planned from the beginning of time so that we may walk in Your ways, blessing Your heart, and finding unending joy in all of our days.

May Your shining glory be over all and our hearts filled with perpetual praise!
