In the same way, when God wanted to confirm His promise as true and unchangeable, He swore an oath to the heirs of that promise”. Hebrews 6:17 (VOICE)
Dearly loved one, no matter what anyone else in the entirety of your life has ever promised you, broken or fulfilled—you have in your legacy as a child of God, a promise that is unbreakable and true!
You are one of the heirs that God is speaking of here, for He speaks of your inheritance already given to you, and to all the families of the earth. This is all possible in and through Christ Jesus your Lord, Who was the recipient of every promise God ever made, and in like manner, passed them on so richly to you.
It is not something that you could ever earn, nor do you ever need to try; for it is the fruit of the eternal covenant that Father and Son have made with each other. And the blessings of this covenant are extended to you: fruitfulness, abundance of provision, forgiveness of sin through Christ, fellowship with God, friendship with the Holy Spirit, and so much more!
Jesus came to tell you that you have within you everything you need for life and godliness, for this is the Father’s good will and intention towards you. His favour is set towards you, and He has gifted you with an overcoming ability against all that is set against you, for even your enemy is already a defeated foe.
Your purpose is given by God to be walked out in peace, as you abide in the prepared place of rest, surrounded by, and protected, in His love. You never have to worry, nor ever have to wonder what the future holds, because this precious and holy oath can never be broken. It is written in love, sealed by the Precious Blood of the Lamb.
Hide yourself in His faithfulness, cherished one, for your future is forever settled, and eternally secured. You are a child of heaven’s inheritance, and all of this, and so much more, Jesus has already done for you!
Jesus, I thank You today for all You have done for me and that all the blessings the Father has given to You, You have shared so generously with me, in just the same way! This is too wonderful for me to comprehend and so often I do not feel worthy to receive. And yet this is Your strong desire—that I walk in the fullness of Your love and all that You have for me, so today, Lord, in an act of faith, and by Your grace alone, I receive!
With a heart of thanksgiving and praise, I embrace the fullness of all that is Your desire for me, and I ask that You would help me walk out my destiny, in freedom and joy, because that is Your will and good pleasure for me—now and for all eternity.
It is beyond what I could imagine Lord. I thank You with all my heart that it could be so.
In the Mighty Name of our Messiah, I pray.
