“He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction” Psalm 107:20 (AMPC)
One power and promise filled word from God changes everything—sickness, disease, loneliness, fear—all transformed in the light of His love when He draws near. He picks us up out of the pits we find ourselves in, even the ones we have dug on our own. In the depths of destruction—whether done to us or caused by us—we are rescued by His redeeming love.
You see beloved, that is why it helps to stay close to the sound of His voice, and to abide under the shelter of His strength. You may not feel worthy, and at times be tempted to run away. Even that will not dissuade Him, for His sees you always with the eyes of love. And, dearly loved one, He cannot see you any other way!
Let Him speak over your life today—words of healing and of hope. Let Him sing His songs of deliverance and then watch your enemies flee! Celebrate the sweet sound of salvation, for love—true love—has liberated you! Child of the King, you are ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven. Dance on the solid ground He has placed you on—you are completely and irrevocably free!
Dearest Lord, I thank You that You have come for me; rescued me; and are in the process of restoring my life, into all You desired for it to be.
Thank You that you know the struggles and sins that I am aware of—those I have done, and all that has been done to me. Even that You are redeeming and making new.
Thank you that You know and see all that I cannot see, and in the gentlest of ways, Your love is setting me free.
I rest in that precious Lord, and I rejoice. I am not alone. I am not forgotten. I am Yours. And I am free!
