But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

When we believe in God, take Him at His word, accept what He says as truth, it pleases Him. He knows His heart of love is set towards us and His plans are for our good. When we don’t trust Him, we often turn away, looking for help in empty places that can lead us to despair. We can try with great strength and determination to make it work on our own, but the reality is, all true hopes fulfilled, come from God alone.

When we believe that He is, and that He is there to help us, the reward comes in two ways: one—we obtain the gift of pleasing God as we acknowledge the truth of Who He is. In that alone we find joy unspeakable in blessing the heart of God! Two—we receive the substance of Who He is, which is the fullness of, and the manifestation of all we need—just as He so desires it to be.

Ask. Seek. Knock, chosen one, and the door of His heart will be open to you! If you find you need more faith, do not worry—just ask. Even that He will supply, dear heart, even that, and so much more!

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I confess that at times I have struggled with faith. I wanted to believe in all you have spoken and promised, but some days, I wondered, are You even there?

I am seeking Lord, to find You, to know You more, to walk in Your ways. I know that You are God and You cannot lie. I welcome You into every area of my life; the fullness of Your love; and Your abiding ways.

You are most welcome in my heart Lord Jesus. I choose You! Come even now, and do what only You can do.

In Your Holy Name, and for Your glory alone, I pray.
