God is our shelter and our strength. When troubles seem near, God is nearer, and He’s ready to help”. Psalm 46:1 (VOICE)

We all need help sometimes, and perhaps at times, even more than we would like to admit! It’s easy to become overwhelmed with the many things that need doing; never mind all that we wish we had time to do; things we wonder if we will ever do; and possibly some regrets for things we wish we had never done! 
 
No matter what situation or circumstance you may find yourself in today, there is a very present, time tested and wholly proven, always at the ready, and continually available, help for you! 

God Himself is the One Who is your Refuge and your Shelter. He is a Strong Tower for you to run into and a safe place to hide. Lay your heart close to His and tell Him of all the weight you carry. Let Him know about the worry, too. Dear one, He is magnificent and mighty; faithful and true; and His heart is forever turned towards you. 
 
He will be your help even now—carrying you through the troubles and leading you away from temptations song. In weakness and in want; He is your Strength and your Stay. The substance of all you need, with His eternal supply at the ready. 
 
Tuck yourself up close to His heart and listen to His words of love. “I have this” He will say, “I’ll take care of you, beloved, and I will lead the way”. He knows absolutely everything that you are feeling now, what lifts you up, and what wants to pull you down—and He is greater than it all. He is the strongest One in the midst of all the messes—able to pick you up, and clean them up, all at the same time! 

Oh, dear heart—it’s true! He is completely able and fully committed to you!

Prayer:

Dearest Lord, I am so very grateful that You are always near. I confess I don’t always feel that it is so, but I choose today, to trust You in this, for I know You never lie.

I invite You now into the circumstances of my life—the worries that weigh me down and the cares that carry me away. Uphold me today with Your generous love, I pray. Bring Your divine solutions in ways that only You can do.

I need You Lord, not just a little, but a lot. Thank you that You are always ready to help. Thank you that You always care.

I place my trust in you, and my hope. I know there is no greater thing that I could do but leave it all up to You. Thank You Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, that it could be so.

With a grateful heart, I pray.
