Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come and buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing]”. Isaiah 55:1 AMPC
We all like to be strong I think, maybe a little independent too? Even when we are worn out and weary ourselves, it is often easier to offer help, than to ask for it. After all it is better to give than to receive and that is true—but the best place in beginning to give—is to receive first the fullness of all that God has for you!
Are you thirsty, looking for something more to nourish your soul in the midst of the dry days? Feeling empty and unsatisfied, spirit, soul, and body? Is there is financial need? A deficit of strength or grace? A deep longing for abiding peace? These are all His specialties, beauty. He knows exactly what to do!
And the good news is that you don’t have to earn, buy, perform, or pretend, to be able to inherit and walk in the substance of all He has for you. God Himself has set a banqueting table, a love feast with all the best things to eat—spiritually and in the natural—with an abundance of life-giving water to drink too! All you have to do is accept the blessing, lean into His love, and receive.
Dear heart, don’t lose out on this grace-filled gift, in the midst of all these grace-filled days, for that is the very nature of God—to love, to give, to provide—all graciously given and gloriously free—set apart specifically and intentionally, for you!
Simple surrender is all it takes and accept all He so longs to give. It will change your life, precious one, when God is your source. And it will change your heart too. You won’t feel alone anymore or lonely, for the One Who knows you so, knows exactly what you require, and He carries in His heart, the dreams you dream, and all that you desire.
Always ready, and fully able to supply all that you need—He is waiting, Cherished one. Just receive!
Dearest God, Father, Son, and Precious Holy Spirit, thank You, that even when I am worn out with worry, You have a plan to perfect me in your promises, to strengthen me; to heal, and to restore.
I have tried so many times, dearest Lord, to do this on my own, but You are a loving Father, Who tenderly nurtures His children, and with a very grateful heart, I declare today, that I belong to You!
I bring my emptiness to You today Jesus, and with a grateful heart, in every area, I ask that I and all things concerning me, could be made full, complete and whole in You.
Let it be so, Lord. Lead me, guide me, and strengthen me in Your love today.
In Your Holy and Precious Name, I pray.
