The  Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing   kindness'". Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)
Sometimes people come into our lives who promise to love us, attempt to do their best, but they may be broken themselves, and just not able to do what they so hoped they could do. That is not a reflection of whether or not you are loveable, it is a reflection on their own brokenness, and what they are able, or not able, to do.

Yet
, cherished one, there is One Who loves you deeply, tenderly, truly—Who always has and always will. Your heavenly Father wants others to love you in the same life-giving ways that are meant to be, as His love pours through them to you!

He wants His healing love to be a strong part of your own foundation, so that you can know the heaven-sent gift you actually are, without a shadow of a doubt. Treasured, valued, adored, and so much more! From this place of quiet assurance, you can love yourself (He will show you how) and see yourself as you truly are. This in turn will allow you to give and receive healthy love from others in the same way.

He has drawn you to Himself so that it could be so. And no matter what, beloved child of the Most-High God, He has you in the grip of grace, cradled in the unfailing kindness of His everlasting love. An eternal truth that will never change. A love story in the making, from a great and glorious God, to one who is worth of love—that is divinely loved and deeply cherished, you!

Prayer:

Precious Lord, I thank You that Your love is faithful and true. On the good days and on the not so good, You are loving me still. Not reluctantly or begrudgingly, because you have to, but wholeheartedly, and completely—because that is Who You are and what You so love to do!

Life-Giving God, how can this be so, that I could be loved with such purity and depth; loved in spite of who I am; loved because of Who I am; by Gracious and Glorious, You!

You pursued me
, Lord, when I felt I was unworthy to receive. You drew me to Yourself so that I could know Who You are and know who I am to You.

I receive Your healing love today, Father, into every area of my life. And for my family and our generations, too.

With a grateful heart, I praise You, Glorious God, and I pray.
