Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert”.

Have you ever thought to yourself, or been told by someone else in certain situations, “Sorry...there is just no way”? No way your hopes could ever happen. No way for your dreams to come true. No way that what you are imagining, planning, or believing for, will ever make sense, or make a difference.
 
Hopelessness waits to take hold when you feel there is no chance for change; no opportunity for things to be different than they are in that exact moment. Dear heart, if that is you now, or ever has been, listen to this heart healing, hope building, grace-filled, good news—God Your Father, the One Who holds you in the palm of His hand, cradles you in His kindness and has gone ahead of you already and worked ALL things out.
 
He has made a way in the wilderness, whatever painful, or personal, and particular, wilderness that may be. God has purposed for rivers of living water to spring up in the deserts of your life, regardless of how they look right now—dry, dusty, or fruitless.
 
He is the One Who can bring life to the most barren of places and, cherished one, He can do it easily. Oh yes, He can. He is more than able, and He is wanting and willing, to do it all for you! Even now, His heart is to make a way for you where there seems to be no way—or no way that you can see.
 
Let Him go ahead of you, making the rough places smooth. Then follow close behind, beloved. Stay close to the Holy Spirit to see how gloriously, beautifully, and wonderfully, it all works out! You won’t be disappointed.  He does all things well!

Prayer: 

Jesus, I invite You today into the wildernesses of my life. Into the dry and barren places; places that are so longing to be made new.

Would You come today, Precious Lord and Giver of Life, and would You bring Your life, new life, into every area of my life, in the miraculous and life-giving ways that only You can do.

I have looked at this wilderness for far too long, Lord. Now I long to see what You see, and to see it become all that You dream and desire it to be.

Let it be so, Lord. In Your kindness, and for Your glory, I pray.
