For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise! Wrapping himself around me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all"! Psalm 84:11 (TPT)
This is a time of year where signs of generosity abound—even in the midst of all we may need ourselves—we are thinking of others, and ways we can best show our love for them. Christmas shopping; gift giving; hospitality and food. And equally as important, sharing with those we may not even know, when we know there is a need.
Our hearts are often to bless beyond measure and we do the best we possibly can. Yet far greater than our own desire to give, in all the ways we can, is the glory of God’s great goodness and generous heart—poured out in abundance to all mankind.
His grace gifts engulf; His love surrounds; His light illuminates the paths ahead. Even in the darkest of times, He is faithful and true. He knows exactly what we have need of, before we even ask. And in a richness of kindness and grace, He sends help from on-high, and provision from His endless supply!
Beloved child, you have been chosen from the beginning of time to be the object of His love and affection. No good thing will He withhold from you. No need will He leave unfulfilled. Tell Him today all that you hope for, dream of, and desire, for you personally—that matters to Him—and then tell Him all that is in your heart for others in just the same way. Let His wrap-around presence enfold you, and His promises sustain you. In the substance of His eternal love, He will carry you, and carry those you are caring for too.
Thank you Gracious God, that You are so generous in all Your ways, and that You have made provision already, for all of my days!
Keep me on the path of righteousness, I pray, for Your Name’s Sake, for my good—to walk in Your perfect will and divinely orchestrated purposes—and for Your glory alone.
I hide myself in Your goodness and Your glory, and I receive with thanksgiving, all that You have planned.
In Christ’s Holy Name, I pray.
